*It's a nice day for a hunting trip. Mordred is still in human form, but his mind is reaching out to look for prey like the creepiest of spiders. Somewhere not far off there are deer, birds, other hunters . . .*

(So, what shall we catch today? There are humans near, I'm sure at least one of them deserves to die.)

His playing reminds her of a cat with a mouse. Or the way that she toys with people who piss her off. She doesnt eat them of course, but the amusement factor is just the same.

"I'm just going to go for a quick dip. Give me a shout when you're finished."

Getting out of the hammock is not as easy as she thought it would be. She falls to the floor and is glad that the landing is soft Earth and leaves. She brushes a few leaves from her clothing and then walks out to the edge of the water, takes a deep peaceful breath and keeps walking. At first she appears to float above the surface of the water like it is iced over, as she steps towards a place where it is deeper. Once there she allows the water to swallow her whole. Sinking slowly vertically beneath the surface until submerged.

She swims towards him as soon as she sees him entering the water. "Beautiful and clear. Really well maintained unpolluted river."

"I'm sure that he won't be able to escape. Your silk is superbly strong, and strangely sticky when it needs to be."

"This is true." She swirls around in the water turning a full 360 just for the pleasure of feeling the water move against her skin.

"Would you like to continue with our swimming lessons. Or are you more int he mood for a bit of gentle floating around after your big brekky?"

"Then floating it is. just lay back and relax." She smiles. The water around them starts to move as if a current has suddenly formed. Whether he is laying back or not, he will find his legs being pushed up so that he's sitting in the water, head up, just like she is. And off they go. Floating down the river.

She's giggling too. It gives her great pleasure to see him enjoying the water. She draws a spiral, with both her hands in the air. Gently the eddies of the water begin to turn the two of them around and around, as if they are on the waltzers at the fair.

The water is clear enough that if they were to stay still for long enough he would be able to see shoals of them. "There's quite a few in here, it's a good sign of how healthy the river is."

Right then a school of tiny silver fishies swim right between them, their silvery bodies catching the light like flecks of sparkle in the water. "Oh look at that, how pretty." she exclaims.

When he pops back up to the surface again she wonders if he would like to be able to see more of the underwater world. She can hold he breath for ages, but she also has a little help from the water itself.

"Would you like to go snorkeling? Well it's a type of snorkeling, it lets you stay under water for longer."

"It's not really something I can teach you. It's more something I do. If you trust me."

She has not given him any reason not to trust her and he can see into her mind if he chooses, she's not going to let her new friend drown.

"Float on your front, face down in the water. And I'll create a bubble of air and direct it around your nose and mouth. Like this."

She creates a bubble by waving her hand over the water - a small wave rises up and folds over, trapping a bubble inside it.

"I just need to do that over your head," she explains.

It's good to see him so happy. As soon as his head is in the water and he is in position she creates the wave over him to form the bubble.

are you okay in there? can you breathe?
